The Pottery Table turns clay and water into the vessels the rest of the colony carries things in. It is short, cheap, and two of its three recipes belong to the farmer.
No tool, just clay
You do not need to bring anything. Sit down and work.
Clay is gathered out in the world from a clay mound, using a small basket — the same one you pick fruit with, woven at the Basketweaving Station.
The three recipes
| Recipe | Ingredients | Level | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clay jar | 10 clay + 2 water | 0 | 1m |
| Clay pot | 15 clay + 5 water | 1 | 2m |
| Pitcher | 10 clay + 1 water | 1 | 2m |
What they are actually for
These come off the table as tools, not ingredients. You attach one and go and fill it.
- A clay jar is what gathers water.
- A clay pot is what gathers milk from a cow, and honey from a hive.
So the whole of the colony’s liquid supply starts here. A dairy without pots is a field of cows nobody can milk.
Farmer or not
There is no potter profession — pottery was folded into farming, so the farmer owns this table.
Anyone can make a clay jar: it is level 0, like every level 0 recipe in the game. The pot and the pitcher are level 1, so they need a farmer who has levelled. And only a farmer banks the recipes and earns crafting experience; everyone else re-enters the clay and water by hand every single time.
Worth knowing
- Nothing here spoils. Throw pots ahead of demand — they keep indefinitely.
- But anyone can take them. An output left sitting on the station can be picked up by whoever wanders past. Collect your own work before you walk away.
