Who can use the forum
You must be 18 or over. You sign in through the SL Colonies Roleplay website, so keep your account there secure; anything done through it is your responsibility.
What you post
What you post stays yours. You let us store it and show it on the forum to the people who can see that part of the forum, for as long as it is there. Public posts can be read by anyone and found by search engines, so post nothing you would not want seen.
Please do not post:
- anything illegal, or that harasses, threatens or abuses anyone;
- sexually explicit material;
- another person’s private information, including their other avatars or where they are in real life, without their consent;
- spam, advertising, or scams;
- anything you do not have the right to share.
Moderation
Our moderators may edit, hide or remove posts, and restrict or close accounts, that break these terms, the terms of use or the guidelines. A person makes those decisions, not a program. We tell you what we did and why, and you can ask us to look again by replying to that message or writing to us.
To report something, use the flag button on the post, or write to us.
Responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. The terms of use set out the rest.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and its courts can hear any dispute about them. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you keep the protections your own country’s law gives you, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes
If we change these terms significantly, we announce it on the forum and in the Herald at least 14 days before it takes effect.
